I really love this type of anime and also magic fantasy anime gets super hit. However, these are the list that is underappreciated even though these are magic fantasy anime. Some of you might say probably they don't have a great story or animation. You could be right or wrong at the same time. You won't know the right answer unless you watch them.
I have picked them because I thought people should know about great anime which underrated. I have since a lot of posts on social media groups people want to watch magic fantasy anime they ask for suggestions. I hope you will love this anime. A certain magical index
We have a certain magical index. I am pretty much sure you have heard about it in a lot of places. However, it didn't get its fair share of popularity like other anime did. This series has a pretty amazing story and as for the animation it is well delivered.
In a certain magical index, Japan is way ahead in terms of technology. They have a various academy where they teach the students and develop their psychic abilities. Those who wield psychic ability are known as espers.
I'm sure you guys have seen in Mob psycho what espers can do with their psychic abilities. So let's talk about the MC and what he does. Actually, the MC has a very low level of psychic ability however he can nullify others' espers psychic ability. There are also other amazing characters in this series with mesmerizing magic power. I am sure you are gonna love this series.
Rage of Bahamut (Genesis)
Next, we have Rage of Bahamut. Another amazing magic fantasy anime you need to watch it is pretty much different than other anime series. Let me get straight to the point. To prevent the world's destruction The God and Demons together sealed the Bahamut and They split the key half and keep it between them.

Youjo Senki tells a different story than most of the anime series these days. If you are looking for something different and magic fantasy as well then you can go for this one.
Youjo Senki is an anime where the MC Tayna who actually was a salaryman in her previous life. The story began when the salaryman fired one of his subordinates for poor performance at work. However, the subordinate happened to be a god. Due to less faith and beliefs, God reincarnates the salaryman as a girl. The girl's name is Tayna. To get rid off of this reincarnation stuff she joins the Empire mage Corps.
It is a nice story of Tayna the evil how she lived her life even though knowing that she would send to hell if she doesn't become a faithful person. She just wants to escape her fate and live her life as she, please.
Record of Grancrest war
This anime series is really fantastic it has everything you want in a magic fantasy anime series. Record of Grancrest War is full of adventures and action. The story is pretty epic.
You will see this kind of story in RPG games. I really love this kind of story where the world is full of chaos when demons invaded it. And heroes emerged to restore the world's balance once again. In this anime, you will get to see many creatures, magic, monsters, and demons. I really love this type of anime where mage fight with a demon with their magic power. You will never get bored watching this stuff.
